Tex-mex is not authentic Mexican food, and this place is far from it. It's just average strip-mall Tex-mex that will appease those looking to mindlessly gorge on heaping baskets of cheaply produced chips from the warmer, care more about portions than flavor, drink, and generally be loud and obnoxious. Coming here on a Saturday night has the decibel level of an airshow. There are so many delicious taquerias in Cleveland and Toledo that serve homemade sopes, menudo, and real carnitas tacos (onion, cilantro, avocado, and lime - none of the lettuce and cheese nonsense) instead of the Americanized fare served at places like this, so why would our dear Midwestern locale gaze adoringly into plates of food that has has been sitting out all day, hastily assembled, and thrown onto a warmer? The prices are outrageous for this McDonalds version of Mexican food - but if the locally ignorant buy into it, it generates more money, and more power to the owners.
Also, avoid this place if you have a sensitive stomach or any GI issues. I've given up on Las Palmas since the past two times I visited over the years, because of their decrease in quality - sauces taste canned, and everything is very ACIDIC. I have gotten ill twice now. I patronized Las Palmas since its opening day and it's not the same with freshness and quality. Additionally, the ground beef in my enchilada was partially raw during my last visit. -

Okay, it's not "authentic" Mexican but it's tasty, fast and plentiful. The wait staff is always fun and friendly, they never miss a beat when they're asked for anything! It's always delivered pronto! Our favorite is the steaming hot lava bowls! The place is noisy but that's because it's always packed so that speaks volumes about what people want in this resort town! If there's room for dessert, you must try the deep fried banana chimichanga!!!!!! Big enough to share!

Quesadillas! This place is awesome! My hisband and I got the quesadillas for 2 and had more than enough food. They do give you a very small amount of 'toppings' (tomatoes, sour cream, etc), and they charge for extra. The place is huge, but can get busy. They seem to have a large enough seating area for those who are waiting for a table.

We came here expecting bad service and a long wait from reading the reviews but we got seated in about 5 minutes and our waiter was really good.
They brought our chips and 2 small bowls of really great salsa. The food came out really fast and was delicious.
I ordered a shrimp and vegetable dish and it came with a ranchero sauce, guacamole salad and rice. I ordered a side of the diablo sauce and if you like really hot and spicy food - then you would love the diablo sauce!! It was awesome but it definitely made my mouth feel like it was on fire (I actually like that - I know it's weird!!!)
My friend ordered dinner #30 which was enchiladas (one chicken, one beef and one cheese). It did not come with beans or rice. He liked his food but said the enchiladas could have had a bit more filling in them.
